Privacy Policy

This policy describes information collected during a visit to Sharp County Court Docket, why it may be used, and when an outside service may receive it. Use of the site indicates acceptance of these practices. Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 governs access to court records, but it does not govern the separate visitor data practices described here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name, case number, or other entry submitted through a search tool goes to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its results. Sharp County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you email the site operator, the message may be kept long enough to respond and maintain an appropriate business record. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

Servers and service providers may receive routine technical information when a page loads, including the device IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, pages viewed, referring page, time spent, and page-view timestamps.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files stored on a device. They and analytics services help measure traffic, page use, and performance. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though some functions may then behave differently.

What We Do With This Data

Collected data may be used to operate and secure the site, route a search to the selected provider, diagnose errors, understand which pages are useful, improve speed, and display advertising. It is not used to create a Sharp County case file or an official court record.

No Court-Record Data on File

Sharp County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Sharp County court cases or personal court-record information. It publishes general routes to Search ARCourts, the Sharp County Circuit Clerk, and District Court offices. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about third parties.

Public access to Arkansas case records is principally controlled by Administrative Order 19 and related court rules. Arkansas FOIA, ยง25-19-101 et seq., does not turn this private reference site into a public record custodian or bypass court-record restrictions.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power search boxes that may appear on content pages. A submission to one of those tools is subject to that provider's privacy terms, retention practices, and sharing rules. Review the displayed provider policy before entering information because this policy does not control the partner's systems.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Arkansas courts, clerk directories, Search ARCourts, local offices, or other outside services. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination's privacy policy applies. Advertising providers may also use their own systems to measure activity across sites.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be processed by a selected search partner, analytics or hosting services, advertising networks, and law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal demand. Each recipient receives only the information involved in that function or request.

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for the information collected. No internet service can promise perfect security, so transmission and storage always carry some risk.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Information identified as having been submitted by a minor may be deleted when a valid request is received.

Your Data Rights

Rights vary with the law that applies to the visitor and the type of information held. A person may ask for access to personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where required, or an available opt-out from certain processing. Arkansas court-record access is a different subject: requests for a Sharp County case file must go to its court custodian under Administrative Order 19, and Arkansas FOIA does not override that judicial framework.

Updates to This Policy

This privacy policy may change as services or legal duties change. A revised version will appear here with a new effective date.
